Are you a traveler or a homebody? Explain

Joanne's FAVORITE answer:
Depends on where there's more boobs.

Joanne's answer:
I'd like to call myself a traveller, as I probably have travelled more than the average person...though I'm embarrassed to say that I don't even have a passport!! But that will change soon, especially with my new job, now that I'll have the opportuntity to earn extra money teaching a summer class in one half of the summer and then still get at least 5 weeks of vacation in the other half of the summer. The summer class $$ should hopefully be my funding for many-a-fabulous summer trips. Summer '08, I am thinking Maui....wanna come? =)

And the other answers!

I like my warm safe home with my creature comforts and my family.

I'm very split on this one. I do love to travel, even if it's just around Berkshire County. I love seeing new places even if it's only a new street in town. But I'm also a bit of a homebody. I'm very domestic. I enjoy a nice home after I've cleaned it. I enjoy cooking. I enjoy visiting with friends at home. So I guess I'm both. At this time in my life, money is what keeps me more a homebody than a traveler.

Well....i'm someone who can't sit still, so i like to get out and do stuff...sadly though, financially speaking, i haven't been able to travel as much as i'd like..although we did just back from Vegas!!! smell the irony??

I'm definitely a traveler...but for 2.5 - 3 weeks tops. i cannot stand living out of a suitcase (way too high maintenance if i am going to be perfectly honest), and i need to be home and comfortable after that amount of time. or i will start biting people's heads off!!:)

Both!! I like to travel but I also like to be at home.

I'm definitely a traveler - especially when I'm not a homebody. It seems if I'm at home I love it but can't wait for the next trip and when I'm on the next trip I love it but can't wait to get home.

I think I'm both. Being home for awhile makes me really want to hit the road. And after traveling, I love coming home to all the comforts. So, I appreciate one by doing the other!

I am a mix of the two. Somedays I like to stay home, and somedays I like to travel far and abroad. I am not always spontaneous, but sometimes the mood just grabs me and I go.

I'm definitely a traveler. If I didn't have to work all the time and I had the money, I would be all over the world.

totally traveler!! I am so planning on a trip down south as I love jazz and Blues and want to feel the soul of that music...in a weird sense I guess this would sort of amake me a "blues traveler"...LOL...ok I heard you groan!

I'm a wanna be traveler. I am at my happiest visiting far away cities.but I can never afford to go.

Well, I've pretty much always been a homebody, but the balance is starting to shift about over the last year or so. I'm much more interested in going out and doing things and more interested in putting plans in place to travel abroad (which I've always wanted to do...someday)

I am a homebody no question! My favorite vacation spot is my home! We hardly travel on vacation. It's much more enjoyable to us to sit home and let the day creep by.
